Caminata Route

The Caminata begins at Heavin Park, San Benito, and heads southeast on U.S. Business 77 toward Brownsville.  

The route continues on Business 77 past FM 510 and proceeds underneath the overpass where it intersects U.S. Hwy 77/83.  

The route follows the frontage road of Hwy 77/83 until it reaches the parking area of Exit 16, the final destination where the State Historical Marker is located.
