We invite you to the Sixth Annual Día de los Muertos Caminata. The 3½-mile march pays tribute to the victims of La Matanza of 1915. This year, we also gather to protest the detainment and deportation of persons WITHOUT DUE PROCESS by federal agents (I.C.E.) done in the name of immigration enforcement!

La Caminata is Sunday, November 2, 2025, 9:00 a.m. and starts from Heavin Park, 705 N. Bowie Street, San Benito, TX. If you do not want to walk the distance, you can meet us for the Protest Rally and Wreath Ceremony at 11:00 a.m. at the State Historical Marker on Exit 16, U.S. Hwy 77/83.  

There is no cost to participate, but we ask that you register by completing the simple form linked below.  Free t-shirts will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
