A Protest for Due Process is planned for the Sixth Annual Caminata. Current events make it imperative for us to speak out against the denial of the right to due process by the Trump administration!
The killing of prisoners without due process led to La Matanza of 1915. During WWII, Japanese Americans were imprisoned in concentration camps without due process. Nowadays, I.C.E. detainees are being deported to foreign countries, including Kafkaesque prisons in El Salvador, without the benefit of due process! A dark period of U.S. history is repeating itself, and WE MUST STOP IT!
